Power Add-on
The power add-on, labelled as "dmg", gives a fixed damage per second increase with equal benefit on all weapons. It is a popular choice of add-on to increase a weapon's per bullet damage. The game says it "accelerates the bullets to much faster speeds" to increase damage, but this is not observable in-game.
Compared to the fire coating add-on, it may seem to give a smaller damage increase but a power add-on give an instant damage increase while the fire coating add-on provides a fire damage that takes an effect over time. This distinction becomes significant in situations where one has to deal with the dark shamans' healing. An immediate damage is preferable to an over-time damage as this may eliminate the chance of the mutants getting healed.
