Tutorial

The tutorial introduces players to the story of John Irish and explains some basic information and game controls.

The player takes the role of John Irish and is instructed to move from his destroyed home to different locations, to destroy a barrel and a barricade. He will then has to kill a mutant (a melee mutant), get its loot, and open a common chest that would give the player a medipack to use. After passing through a gate, one would have to kill a ranged mutant who is guarding some treasure (the ranged mutant drops a treasure that unlocks the pumpkin head). Behind the ranged mutant is a secret chest. After that the player is instructed to open a gate with the generator nearby. He than arrives at the checkpoint near a medical camp.
